Bulli Anglican AGM

26 Feb 2023

AGM 2023

Next Sunday, 26th February, we will gather together for wonderful fellowship over lunch and to make vital decisions in the life of our church.

In the formal meeting beginning at 12 noon, there will be speeches reflecting on God’s work among us throughout 2022 and what’s ahead for us in 2023. Together with the published Ministry Reports, these aim to prepare us for ministry and mission together in 2023.

We will also formally receive the financial report of all giving, income and expenditure from 2022 and receive the operational budget for 2023.

Looking to the year ahead, we will vote into office responsible people who will lead and guide our church alongside the Staff Team for 2023 -

  • An Auditor to ensure our finances are kept in good order
  • Wardens to be the operational guardians of all we do in 2023
  • A Parish Council as ministry consultants and 2024 tacticians
  • Synod Reps to be our eyes, ears and mouthpiece in the Diocese
  • Nominators to prepare for our future beyond our Senior Minister

Following a 12:45pm break for fellowship over lunch, at 1:15pm we will reconvene to supply opportunity for questions about finances and decisions from 2022 and to hear public recommendations about the things you would like to be considered for 2023 and beyond.

The direction of our Church and the people who will lead us are all determined at this annual meeting. Please make it a priority to attend, to nominate the best possible people into positions of influence and be prayerful in all decisions made. Nomination forms, AGM Financial and Ministry Reports can all be collected from the church foyer.

Children’s Ministry will be run in support from 11:55am in the hall and the children will be fed lunch by the leaders at 12:30pm.
